Sub Contractor & Vendor
A key element of our success is the relationships we’ve formed through the years with our sub-contractors and materials suppliers. They typically attend bid conferences at the customer’s property during the proposal process. This ensures continuity, and helps limit misunderstandings or accidental omissions to the scope of work being proposed.
The following is a list of tradesmen and materials/specialty product suppliers you are most likely to see involved in your project:
Brandon Clark – 23 years of experience plumbing new and remodeled commercial and residential projects; 9 years experience working with Critchfield Construction, Inc. He has a son, a former employee of ours, currently serving in the Marine Corps.
Mike Keene – 17 years experience as an electrician. Recently licensed and has been performing over 90% of our sub-contracted electrical work. Mike worked, very successfully, with his older brother for many years (Keene Electric) before striking out on his own. Father of three children and a great businessman.
ORA Construction – 15 years as a licensed framing contractor. Russ and his family have been hired on over 3 million dollars worth of residential and commercial framing projects with us in the past. Our relationship with his company stretches back over many years. His people are conscientious, responsible and generous with their time.
Bill Pfhaler – 19 years of licensed roofing experience. Bill and his crew have successfully completed almost 1.7 million dollars worth of sub-contracted roofing during our long relationship. He’s a regular contributor to our team and a regular contributor to community service projects in Prunedale, his home town near Salinas.
Bay to Bay Concrete – Concrete contractor for most of his adult life – 20+ years. All phases of slab and elevated interior and perimeter foundation work are his specialty. He’s been sub-contracting from us exclusively. His adult son, Isaac, helps run the crews and day to day operations of the work undertaken by them.
Tri-County Insulation – Currently based in San Jose and our only truly exclusive contractor. Integrity, responsibility and generosity are their hallmarks.
CDS Drywall – One of our very first drywall sub-contractors. He’s worked for us on both commercial and residential projects, providing excellent service each and every step of the way. Our relationship with Steve goes back 14 years. His family is involved in many ways with the businesses here in Campbell, CA. Railway Distributing (our drywall supply vendor) is owned by his brother.
