Tongue and Groove

Each plank of a tongue and groove plank includes a projection on one side and a corresponding groove on the opposite. The planks fit together to make a flush surface using a visible seam. The joints are fairly loose, which allows for expansion and contraction with changes in humidity and temperature.

Avante Interiors

This kitchen’s tiled ceiling is lined with tongue and groove boards painted white. Wood beams put off them and recessed lighting permit the planks, rather than the lighting fixtures, to take centre stage.

Mackle Construction

Tongue and groove boards can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
